Academic Faith Integration is a fundamental component in fulfilling Vanguard University’s mission of equipping “each student for a Spirit-empowered life of Christ-centered leadership and service”. During Year 2, the task force explored the university's systems and processes through the lens of faith integration. We took a deep dive to explore the alignment between faculty observations, promotion and tenure, and faculty development in relation to academic faith integration. Recognizing the need for sustainable structures and clarity in language, the task force developed a proposal for the Provost to further embed academic faith integration into the culture and infrastructure of the university with authenticity, where both faculty and students alike continue to grow in their Christian faith through AFI.
