A small-scale study investigated the effectiveness of a professional development intervention in enhancing vocational identity levels and a sense of calling in Christian college staff. A pre-test-post-test design was used to administer instruments before and after participation in a ten-week multi-text reading group. Results indicated a statistically significant increase in the sense of calling following the intervention, suggesting that investing in faith-based development programs for staff may contribute to a more mission-aligned environment. Implications for administrators will be discussed
